Presenting Sponsor
WINGS is proud to recognize our Presenting Sponsors: CanadaOne Auto, Waterloo Ford Lincoln, and Freedom Ford for their incredible commitment to WINGS and to our community.
This is the second year these dealerships have come together to support the WINGMAN Campaign, and once again they are going above and beyond to make an impact. Not only did they host this year’s WINGMAN photo shoot, they are also matching all donations up to $30,000 dollars. That means every gift made throughout September will go twice as far to help women and children rebuild their lives after domestic violence.
“Our dealerships and the Priestner Family are incredibly proud to stand as WINGMAN partners and support the amazing WINGS team who walk beside women and children escaping domestic violence. Through the generosity of our dealerships and the commitment of our teams, we are honoured to contribute to the essential work WINGS provides,” said Camille McCrindle, Chief of Staff at CanadaOne Auto. “While we are proud to be part of the solution, we recognize the heartbreaking reality that these organizations are still so desperately needed. We are in. Are you?”
We are deeply grateful to CanadaOne Auto, Waterloo Ford Lincoln, and Freedom Ford for standing with WINGS and helping us build a compassionate community free from violence.
Incite
Sponsor
WINGS is deeply grateful to Incite, a strategy and marketing consulting firm dedicated to helping organizations grow, for joining this year’s WINGMAN Campaign as a sponsor. Incite has generously contributed $5,000 to the campaign and is setting a goal to raise even more to help women and children rebuild their lives after domestic violence.
In Incite’s words:
“We are WINGMEN because the women and children who escape domestic violence in our communities deserve somewhere safe to run to. A place where they can heal and rebuild. WINGS is that safe place.”
Their commitment to community shines through in their ongoing support of WINGS. In addition to sponsoring this year’s WINGMAN Campaign, Incite supported our recent golf tournament and has shared their marketing expertise to help strengthen WINGS’ message and impact.

We are proud to recognize Worley as dedicated WINGMEN in the fight against domestic violence. This year, Worley has gone above and beyond in their support of WINGS — from raising essential funds at two incredible golf tournaments this summer to serving as the Presenting Sponsor of our upcoming Make-Believe Ball Gala this November.
Worley’s commitment as community ambassadors helps ensure women and children fleeing abuse have access to safety, healing, and hope for the future. We are deeply grateful for their leadership and generosity in standing with families as they rebuild their lives.

“The work I've seen my family at WINGS do is breathtaking. To proudly stand up for the women in my life, to show the world that there's a better path, to pair with an organization that enacts real-time change the way WINGS does... Being a WINGMAN is an honour and privilege!”
Leo Wong

“I believe that all women and children deserve the opportunity to thrive. Domestic violence is unacceptable, but can be addressed if we engage men in the conversation. I hope others join me in learning more about this issue, and use their voice to affect positive change.”
Matt Mandrusiak

“This is my second year as a Wingman, and something I am very proud to be a part of. The support WINGS provides to people in difficult situations cannot be overlooked. I got involved to help amplify the message that together, we can help break the cycle of violence.”

“Wings of Providence is extremely important to helping victims of domestic violence. It breaks my heart to know there are people trapped in these horrific situations. By supporting the WINGMAN campaign, I am hoping this brings more awareness to my network of the support services offered by Wings of Providence, as well as be more aware of those who may be victims.”

“As a WINGMAN, I pledge to Believe Her… Support Her… Stand with Her.”
Laura Walker

“I chose to become a WINGMAN because I believe empowering women to rebuild their lives after the hardship of abuse is one of the most meaningful ways we can create lasting change and break the cycle for future generations. The commitment of WINGS to breaking the cycle of violence and offering real, lasting change makes a tangible difference in our community. Supporting them is one small way I can stand with those who’ve had to find strength in the face of unimaginable hardship.”
“Supporting WINGS is a given to me, I can’t understand not supporting such an amazing cause. To me, it means standing with all the strongest women in my life to stand up for other women who need an advocate they may not have otherwise. I hope to inspire other young men in stepping up and being on the right side of this issue and to become part of the solution to a horrible cycle. ”

“I chose to be a WINGMAN because I see the need for families to be safe and I see the good work done at Wings. I am a man with a wife, daughters and grandchildren. I want to know they and others feel safe where they live. The Wingman campaign is excellent for men to gather and speak out against family violence.“

“As a former board member of WINGS of Providence, I believe in the passion of the people and cause of the organization. Domestic violence has no place in our community.”
Aaron Linville
Pastor, Millwoods Community Church
“I'm choosing to be a WINGMAN again because too many women have shared with me that a pastor told them to stay with their abuser. That is wrong. I'm trying to make amends for those wrongs, improve the role the church plays in supporting victims and survivors of domestic violence, and also, hopefully, help reduce the rate of domestic violence.“
Brady Knack

“I have been a WINGMAN for a number of years now. I believe in the importance in standing up for women and children in his community as a son, brother, and husband. Everyone deserves to live in a safe and comforting home environment.”

“I chose to be a WINGMAN because I believe everyone deserves to feel safe and supported—especially women and children escaping violence. Supporting WINGS means standing up for those who often feel like they’re standing alone. I hope that by being involved, I can help raise awareness by being present, listening, and using whatever platform I have to support a cause that matters.“
Luke Williamson
Owner - Accurate Network Services
“WINGS is an incredible organization that provides support to vulnerable women and children - the people who need it most. I believe in the cause, as many of us have been granted so much luck in life, and it is important to never take that for granted and use that privilege to help others in need.”

“I choose to be a WINGMAN because I believe everyone deserves to feel safe in their own home. Too many women and children live in fear, and WINGS offers them a chance to rebuild their lives with dignity and support. I'm proud to stand behind this mission and do my part to help end the cycle of domestic violence.”
Richard Le Sueur
Retired, now Creative Collaborator
“I support WINGS because, quite frankly, domestic violence and abuse disgusts me. The effect it has on the mothers is bad, however the effect on the children will affect them for their entire lives. Unfortunately I have witnessed this over my various careers.
The physical and emotional scars these mothers and children bear are inexcusable and too often society tends to "look the other way", which often seems to have an effect on the actions of the legal system.
It is my hope that the greater the awareness we can create regarding domestic violence and abuse, perhaps the need for organizations such as WINGS will decrease. Until such time, we need to ensure that they get all the support we can muster.“
“I’m proud to be a WINGMAN because silence around abuse and domestic violence only lets it continue. As men, we have a responsibility to speak up, lead by example, and help shift the attitudes that allow harm to go unchecked. Being a WINGMAN means using my voice to raise awareness and my efforts to support WINGS programs that provide safety and hope to families escaping violence.”

Teacher, Edmonton Public School Board

“As a new dad to two little girls, domestic violence awareness has taken on a whole new meaning for me. I look at my daughters and know they deserve to grow up in a world where love is safe, respect is constant, and no one ever has to fear the people closest to them.”
“This is a great opportunity to raise funds and awareness for an amazing organization that is working diligently to support the women and families that are the backbone of our communities. Being a Wingman is a great chance to lead by example and speak out against domestic violence and violence against women and children. It really is an honor to get to participate in this and I encourage other men to do the same.”

“I choose to be a WINGMAN because the people that inspire me daily and keep me grounded are women. This cause is so important because it has opened my eyes to the struggles that the women in our community and around the world have to face. I want others to see the campaign and start having those difficult conversations, support the women in their lives and be there for all women when they need it. “
