July Champion of Hope
Royal Bank of Canada
This month, WINGS is proud to recognize RBC as our Champion of Hope — in appreciation of their outstanding support, generosity, and commitment to building safer futures for women and children fleeing domestic violence.
RBC has shown up in meaningful and consistent ways for WINGS:
In May, RBC helped make our 30th Annual Mother’s Day Tea a memorable celebration by joining us as an event sponsor.
Through the RBC Communities Together Fund (CTF), RBC employees have secured multiple grants to support food for families and programs at WINGS. This unique, employee-driven initiative combines funding and volunteerism to make a tangible difference in local communities. RBC staff identify a charitable need, volunteer as a team, and RBC provides a $1,500 grant to amplify their efforts.
RBC employees are also giving their time this summer, volunteering at key WINGS events and supporting frontline programming with care and compassion.
Additionally, RBC teams are organizing an Essentials Drive to collect much-needed household and personal care items for families living at WINGS.
We are especially grateful to Alexandria, Jose, and the entire RBC team for their incredible leadership and heartfelt support. Your partnership truly helps women and children rebuild their lives in safety, dignity, and hope.
Thank you, RBC, for being a Champion of Hope.
